BRANCH 106

The Debert Legion is a vibrant community hub dedicated to supporting veterans, their families and the local community at large. We offer a wide range of services including veteran support, community outreach, and assistive technologies. Our facilities host engaging senior events, fitness classes, and social activities like darts, game nights, and dances. Additionally, we provide hall rentals for various events, fostering a sense of community and well-being for all.
LATEST NEWS: Roof Campaign
On behalf of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 106, we are honoured to share the local business behind the extraordinary offer that has brought our “Protect A Community Cornerstone” campaign to a close.
𝗣𝗠𝗖 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗴 led by John Harrington Sr., has stepped forward with a remarkable commitment ~ offering to replace our Legion’s roof.
This level of leadership goes beyond generosity. It reflects a deep-rooted connection to this community and to the people who shaped it.
For John, this decision was deeply personal.
He shared that his motivation is rooted in the relationships and memories built within this community. He grew up alongside valued members who are no longer with us, and spoke with heartfelt respect for Bob Pash, Ronnie Eastcott, Mel Corbett, and Harvey Adams - having worked alongside Ronnie, Mel, and Harvey on roofing crews. He knows how much the Legion meant to them and believes they would be proud to see this work carried forward.
This act is more than a roof replacement.
It is a tribute.
It is legacy in action.
It is community, at its very best.
Because of this extraordinary offer, Branch 106 can continue its mission - serving Veterans, promoting Remembrance, and strengthening our community well into its second century.
To John, and the entire Harrington family at PMC Roofing ~ thank you. Your leadership ensures this place, and everything it represents, will continue to stand for generations to come.
